Team Leader – Afternoon Shift
After completing his apprenticeship at Sevaan Group four years ago, Alex has quickly risen through the ranks and now supervises the afternoon shift on the factory floor.
“I make sure everyone is doing the right thing and check on how they’re going with their job. If they have any questions, they come up to me and I’m usually able to sort it out for them straight away.”
Alex is highly skilled in metal fabrication including bending, welding, operating and milling.
When he started as an apprentice with us Alex found there was no shortage of experience or knowledge within our talented team for him to learn from.
“The apprentice program was really good. All the guys here stepped up and helped me when I had questions, always willing to give me a hand whenever I needed it. Sevaan Group is a great way to get your foot in the door and experience a variety of different areas. If you start in one section, you’re not stuck in that area for the whole time. You always go round different areas learning new things.”
Alex has a need for speed outside the factory floor you’ll find him on the race track clocking fast times in his car!
