Applicants must be capable of working with minimum assistance to setup and run machines. Demonstration of programming ability may be required.

Skills and experience required:

Previous suitable experience (2-3 years) in a similar position.

Demonstrate ability in tracking financial expenditure and in the preparation of financial reports.

Demonstrate ability in inventory control

Demonstrate expertise in the coordination of supply, contract management, quoting and electronic systems.

Excellent verbal communication skills in order to influence work colleagues to implement the agreed processes and procedures.

Strong report writing capability.

Excellent computer literacy skills including a working knowledge of corporate procurement and record keeping systems and a general understanding of electronic systems.

Demonstrate ability to support staff in maximizing the use of computerized systems.

Demonstrate knowledge and standards for purchasing within the Group.

Strong attention to detail.

Specific Responsibilities:

Working with an experienced team, your responsibilities will include:

Develop, implement and maintain purchasing / procurement process and contract management systems and standards of purchasing / procurement operation activities, to reduce transaction costs and improve customer service.

Review the effectiveness and efficiency of purchasing / procurement systems and processes, and initiate improvements where necessary in consultation with managers.

Ensure regular contract management reviews are carried out and recorded.

Ensure that the Sevaan Group's Code of Conduct and complaint process briefings to new contractors, and conducts regular compulsory briefings with existing contractors.

Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation relating to purchasing / procurement, including standard contracts, guides, evaluation tools and templates for purchasing activities including works, services and goods.

Establish preferred supplier contracts, including annual contracts and audit contract management of these.

Ensure that all materials are properly stored.

Ensure that accurate and appropriate levels of inventory are maintained in order to meet customer demand.

Maintain correct records of all inventories.

Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies
